When and where are the Pack Meetings? Cub Scout Pack 381 meets one Thursday a month, from September through May. Meetings are from 7:00pm to 8:00pm. Most meetings are held at the First United Presbyterian Church, 65 Washington Road, but some meetings are held at other locations to accommodate a special activity. Please check the Pack Calendar for details.
What is the official Cub Scout uniform? Cub Scout Pack 381 uses two uniforms; class"A" and class "B". The class "A" uniform consists of the official uniform shirt, hat, and neckerchief. The class "B" uniform consists of either the Pack 381 T-shirt or sweatshirt. Wear the class "A" to most Pack functions. Your Den Leader will decide on a uniform for Den meetings.
Where do the patches go on the uniform? The Cub handbooks have some pictures on the inside covers as to badge placement. Another GREAT source is A Virtual Uniform Web Site - you can see a picture of badge/insignia placement!
What is the foul weather policy? If school is canceled or dismissed early due to bad weather, all pack and den meetings for the day are canceled.
How do I become involved with Pack 381? Cub Scout Pack 381 welcomes and needs volunteers! There are volunteer opportunities at the Pack level (officers, fund raising, activities, etc.) and at the Den level (leaders, helpers). Please contact the Cubmaster for current volunteer opportunities.
How do I join Cub Scout Pack 381? Cub Scout Pack 381 recruits boys in the Robert Moton school district but anyone is welcome to join at anytime of the year and at any age! Currently we have members from 5 elementary schools, 2 private schools, and homeschool groups. Please contact the Cubmaster for further information regarding individual Dens.
What supplies does my scout need to start? Dens are arranged by grade (1st-Tiger, 2nd-Wolf, 3rd-Bear, 4th-Webelos I and 5th-Webelos II. Each scout needs a Den Manual, Cub Scout Shirt with patches (sold separately) for Den and Pack # and Baltimore Council Patch. Optional attire includes Hat and Kerchief. |
